Solve For X Variety Show

Comedy and Performance Inspired by Science

Solve for X is a comedy and variety show that started in Atlanta, Georgia, but is now touring around science festivals and science conferences. The show takes professional performing artists, be they comedians, writers, musicians, or even puppeteers, and has them do acts inspired by science, and then has these performers share the stage with actual scientists, who have worked with Solve for X staff to workshop their performing skills. We tie it all together with improv comedy and bad puns.

Solve for X has been featured at Dragon Con, the Atlanta Science Festival, The Middle East Club in Boston, Massachusetts, and coming up we'll be at The International Marine Conservation Congress in St. John's Newfoundland.

The show has featured Star Talk's Leighann Lord, award-winning playwright Topher Payne, comedian Ken Reid, master-of-disaster Mika McKinnon, Astronomy Cast's Dr. Pamela Gay, and many, many more fabulous peformers.
